1989 continue.
THE ROSS REVENGE RAID.
On this day (we 'll never forget it)the british and dutch autorities
were boar-ding the ROSS REVENGE ,the home of RADIO CAROLINE on the
north sea in the inter-national waters ;but only 43 days after this
act of piracy the lady was back with the help and support of a lot of
fans and listenners which were in LONDON on sept 15th for a protesting
march.
1990.
Starting a new year and the 90's decade RWI was more and more popular
with it's RELAY SERVICE.A lot of station from all over the world
join us.
RADIO REBEL from DDR
RADIO USA from USA indeed
RADIO MANDARINE a funny french station
RADIO REBEL 105 from Germany
RADIO MAYDAY from Finland
This latest station relayed RWI in Finland on FM & SW during spring
1990.
EASTER 90.
As usual W.C.S was back for this long weekend but to be a worldwide
in this bad propagation periode we started a test on 11400khz from
the 25 meters band,the first results were good in Italy and in North
East of Europe.
BACK ON 48 Meters.
In august we were back to the 48 mb as the usual channel 7440 khz was
noisy and busy.
ABOUT PROPAGATION.
The extreme solar activity doesn't help us help us to be received in
short skip:
As a french listenner said:
Once again the waves were jumping over my head and my antenna ,
the signal was most of the time very weak.
EURORADIO IN CALAIS.
On the saturday July 7th In this nice place ;the 555 disco club
located at 63 rue Royale in CALAIS a special event was organized by
the FRC well know by european free radio fans as OFFSHORE ECHOES FRANCE;
RWNews 90.006 was covering this event.
